Description:
Dimensions range from 27.8 mm - 38 mm high and 7 mm wide.
Width to height ratio: 0.25:1 ~ 0.18:1
Shell: acuminate; thin; moderately small. Exterior colour white. About 14 whorls, slightly shouldered, otherwise rounded; protoconch unknown in holotype. Suture closed, strongly constricted. Imperforate. Approximately 67 costae on the body whorl. Costae are thin. Costae slightly coronated at shoulders; some ribs on last whorl reflected. Intercostal spaces with numerous microscopic incised spiral lines of even strength which do not cross the costae. Aperture subcircular; peristome simple. continuous, becoming thinner on parietal area. . Operculum unknown.
E.(P.) bevdeynzerae resembles Mazescala koyamai Nakayama, 1995 [Garcia, 2003], the round whorls, and the elongated shape readily distinguish this from its closest relatives [Garcia, 2001]

Named for Mrs. Beverly A. Deynzer who, together with her husband, Mr. Al Deynzer, donated the specimen. [Garcia, 2001]
