Description:
Dimensions range from 30.4 mm - 30.5 mm high.
Width to height ratio: 00:1 ~ 00:1
Shell: acuminate; thin, but solid; moderately small. Exterior colour off-white. About 10 whorls, early whorls with a keel that reduces on later whorls; protoconch missing in holotype. Suture narrow, forming a deep channel. Imperforate: umbilicus closed. Approximately 90 costae on the body whorl. Costae are low, erect, scalloped. Costae slightly peaked at the suture. Intercostal spaces spiral structure with a central dominant cord which becomes weaker on later whorls. Base with a spiral cord framing the basal disc, costae crossing the base to the umbilical area. Aperture ovate; outer lip simple, moderately thickened. Operculum unknown.

Named for Mr. Leonard (Lenny) Brown, co-author of The Wentletrap Book, for his efforts in putting together that publication, and for his love of Epitoniidae [Garcia, 2003]
