Hedleyella maconelli

Shell very large, reddish brown to yellowish with darker spirals and broken lines, globosely conic; whorls rounded, sutures moderately impressed, teleoconch sculpture of fine spiral striae and axial growth lines; aperture ovately lunate, lip thin, columella with kink or angle; imperforate.
Similar to H. falconeri but lacks an umbilicus and is more elongate in shape.
