Epitonium lineolatum

Description:
Dimensions range from 24 mm - 24 mm high.
Width to height ratio: 00:1 ~ 00:1
Shell: pyramidal, ventricose; thin, lightweight, sturdy; moderately small. Exterior colour whitish, with 2 brown spiral bands. About 8 whorls, rounded. Umbilicate: narrow. Approximately 13 - 18 costae on the body whorl. Costae are thin, rounded, erect, varying in size.

muddy sand
Etymology:
[latin] from lineola, the diminutive form of linea = small or fine lines and -atum = a common adjectival ending used in taxonomy.
