Epitonium adjunctum

Description:
Dimensions range from 8 mm high.
Shell: conical; solid, rather solid; small. Exterior colour milky white, glossy. About 9 whorls; protoconch with ~3 whorls smooth; teleoconch with 5-6 whorls rounded, slightly depressed near the suture. Suture deep, fenestrated. Imperforate. Approximately 9 - 10 costae on the body whorl. Costae are thin, erect. Costae joined across the suture. Columella ribs fuse with the columellar edge. Aperture round; peristome very thick,with a small spine-like projection at the suture.
