Description:
Dimensions range from 14.9 mm - 15.3 mm high and 4.7 mm wide.
Width to height ratio: 0.32:1 ~ 0.31:1
Shell: narrowly acuminate; fragile; small. Exterior colour white; first six teleoconch whorls reddish, fading to pale pink on the sixth.. About 12.25 whorls, convex; protoconch with ~3.25 whorls opaque, conical, yellow, with a brownish-red band below the suture; teleoconch with ~9 whorls. Umbilicate: covered by expansion of the columellar area. Approximately 41 costae on the body whorl. Costae are erect and frilly creating a fenestrate pattern when crossing the suture. Intercostal spaces with strong, well-defined cords creating a fenestrate pattern when crossed by the axial lamellae; pattern continues to the umbilical area. Interstices with approximately 8 - 11 spiral striae per whorl. Base round, without basal disk. Aperture oval.
