Cycloscala montrouzieri

Description:

Dimensions range from 2 mm - 3 mm high and 1.6 mm wide.
Width to height ratio: 0.8:1 ~ 0.53:1

Shell: widely turbinate; microscopic. Exterior colour milky-white. About 7.5 whorls; protoconch with ~5 whorls ; teleoconch with ~2.5 whorls. Suture deep on the first teleoconch whorl with later whorls with sporadic openings. Deep But Narrow. Approximately 9 - 12 costae on the body whorl. Costae are erect, strongly scalloped. Costae hooked at the shoulder; reflexed. Intercostal spaces smooth. Aperture subcircular, thicken with a varix. Operculum thin, transparent, colourless.
