Bistolida stolida

(Linnaeus, 1758)
Shell: moderately small, solid, oblong ovate, ranging from 23-32 mm. Spire concealed. Teeth: 15 to 16 columellar teeth; 18 to 20 labral teeth. Sculpture: smooth, porcelaneous. Exterior colour blue-grey with indistinct brown spots and a large irregular central brown blotch; base yellowish with indistinct brown spots on sides; light orange blotches on each side of the anterior and posterior.
