Teinostoma lucidum

A. Adams, 1863
Shell low spired, thick shelled. Early whorls smooth, gently rounded. Last whorl rounded, smooth, polished. Aperture entire, with weak posterior canal; broad, low nodule at top of inner lip. Outer lip with very strong varix. Umbilicus covered with wide callus with pitted, wrinkled surface. Shell colourless translucent when fresh, becoming opaque with age.
