Shell: moderately small, solid, ovate to pyriform, ranging from 25 mm. Spire concealed. Teeth: 15 to 19 columellar teeth; 18 to 19 labral teeth. Sculpture: smooth, porcelaneous. Similar to C cribraria, but body is more globose. Exterior colour white overlaid with light tan with clearly defined white spots; base and margins white.
