Subspecies: Purpuradusta hammondae dampierensis  Schilder & Cernohorsky, 1965
Western Australia - Arafura Sea. Elongate oval, slightly calloused; dorsum with broad interrupted bands and darker zones; dorsal spots often large and dense; spire blotch large covering most of the extremity; tips suffused with pink.
