Conomurex luhuanus

Shell: medium, solid, obconic , ranging from 43-62mm.
Spire very low to low, about 12%-24% of shell height.
Shoulder rounded, angled, with evenly spaced axial ridges on the early whorls; suture deeply inciced. Sculpture: smooth, early whorls chalky, fine radial threads at siphonal canal.
Columella smooth; Columella callous back brown , extending slightly onto the body..
Outerlip centrally lirate. Periostracum pale yellow, slightly rough.
Exterior White to pale pink with tan chevrons and flames forming radial bands toward the outer lip. Aperture apricot to dark red fading internally.
