Talostolida teres

(Gmelin, 1791)
Shell: small to moderately small, elliptical to sub-cylindrical, ranging from 10-37 mm. Spire flat to invert, partially concealed. Teeth: 21 to 26 columellar teeth; 20 to 24 labral teeth. Sculpture: smooth, porcelaneous, outer lip calloused. Exterior colour blue grey, crossed by squarish blotches forming 3 axial bands; heavily dusted with tan freckles; brown blotch centrally on the dorsum; base and margins cream to ivory with prominent diffuse, brown spots on the margins. Mantle line indistinct.
