Chicoreus palmarosae

(Lamarck, 1822)
Medium to large, pale brown with dark brown spiral ridges and fronds; fronds sometimes tipped with pink. Spire often rose-pink. Varies appear folded over with wide, open, frilly frond which extend onto teh anterior canal. Aperture ovate, white, denticulate; columella edged with numerous denticles with dark brown staining between them.
