Shell: moderately small, solid, elliptical to sub-cylindrical, ranging from 24-39 mm. Spire concealed. Sculpture: smooth, porcelaneous. Exterior colour fawn to pale orange crossed by 3 darker bands, orange terminal spots at each end; irregular axial lines and flecks; base and margins white.
