Lyncina carneola

Shell: moderately small to medium, solid, elliptical to sub-pyriform, ranging from 24-43 mm.
Spire concealed. Teeth: 19 to 25 columellar teeth; 20 to 27 labral teeth.
Sculpture: smooth, porcelaneous.
Exterior colour fawn to pale orange crossed by four darker radial bands; base pale fawn; margins mottled; teeth stained with purple.
