Shell: small to medium, solid, subpyriform, ranging from 15-51 mm. Spire flattened, sometimes visible. Teeth: 10 to 16 columellar teeth; 13 to 14 labral teeth. Sculpture: smooth, porcelaneous. Aperture wider towards the anterior. Exterior colour dorsum olive green with 3 blueish bands dusted with fine, diffuse brown freckles; a darker dorsum blotch is sometimes present; base and margins cream to yellow..
